• To collect data and analyse the levels of awareness, interest, attitudes and understanding among Malaysians towards science,
Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) plays a vital role in most spheres of daily life. Whether in learning, communicating or
processing information, STI has changed the way we live and do things. Recognising the importance of STI, the Malaysian
Science and Technology Information Centre (MASTIC) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) is carrying
out a study on public awareness of STI in Malaysia. Findings from the study will provide the government with valuable information
to plan and execute programs to develop our education and ensure easy public understanding of STI issues.
